The top layer of an Alpha Reveal effect can be an
image or a
video. The Alpha
mask is the shape that fades out of the top layer to reveal the bottom layer where motion is detected.
Top Layer Preview
This is a preview of the top layer of your effect. It can either be a video or an image.

Image Mask Preview
This is a preview of the mask that fades between the top and bottom layer when motion is detected. Transparent pixels will show the top layer and white pixels will show the bottom layer.

Change button
Browse for a new mask image file. The image file should only contain white and transparent pixels. White pixels are will fade the top layer to reveal the bottom layer where motion is detected.

Fade In Time
This how quickly the top layer fades out and the bottom layer fades in.

|
Duration
How long the bottom layer is shown before fading back to the top layer.
|
|
Fade Out Time
This how quickly the top layer fades in and the bottom layer fades back out.
|
|
Mask Quantity
This is how many Alpha masks cover the entire screen. If you notice performance issues, you can try lowering this number.

|
Mask Scale
This is how much the Alpha Mask is scaled in relation to it's original image size.
