Multiple Projectors/Cameras
It's possible to create an interactive projection system using multiple projectors and tracking cameras.
Reasons for this would be to create a larger projection area, or to create a different shaped projection area such as a long walkway. In a bright area, it may be necessary to use four projectors to cover the same area as one to create a much brighter image.
AdVis has everything built in to enable use of up to 4 projectors and 4 tracking cameras. Even more projectors and tracking kits can be used for custom installations.
AdVis has built in edge-blending technology with a very easy to use configuration. You just need to align your projectors next to each other, making sure they slightly overlap each other.
For most installations involving multiple projectors, you will need an additional tracking kit per each additional projector. However, it's possible to track multiple projections with one tracking kit if the entire projection area can be covered by it. This is useful for example where you are using 4 projectors to create the same sized image as 1 projector, but much brighter. It's not necessary to have to purchase 3 additional tracking kits.
